Last night's rainstorms made it feel like fall today - and reminded me that I need to use the Butterfly Wing Medley quickly, before fall really does arrive!
Jean Okimoto here this weekend, with more butterfly inspiration for you. Memory Box has a great selection of classic butterfly designs. Add them to your collection now, before summer ends - and enjoy creating with them.
Remember those Kaleidacolor inkpads? You might have a few stashed away as reminders of your rainbow-stamping days. Press those vivid coordinating colors onto a large acrylic block and paint them onto watercolor paper with a wet brush. Blend them to create vibrant backgrounds for diecutting and stamping.
I used the Riviera inkpad here - then stamped a quick greeting with the pretty Radiant Neon Electric Purple. "Pretty" and "neon" are rarely used in the same sentence - but I think it's a great match for the beautiful butterflies.
Please visit our Ideas Gallery for detailed instructions and supply lists for today's card - and a few more.
Be sure to visit Impress for their Holiday Event beginning at 9:30 AM today - be among the first 25 to arrive and get a great goodie bag of special products. Be inspired by their beautiful displays, new holiday items and demos from 9:30 to 11:30. It's the perfect time to get the Memory Box items that are on your wishlist.
Thanks for visiting...see you again this evening!
I always enjoy seeing your cards, Jean! Looks like a golden embellishment on batik silk to me... beautiful!
