Watercolor Birthday Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends!

Any Summer birthdays to celebrate?  Today let's break out the watercolors, Peerless Watercolors, available from Birch Press Designs, and a few really cool Memory Box dies.

Personally, I love these watercolors.  They are color intense, long lasting and easy to access.  I arranged mine in a notebook with color swatches inside the plastic sleeves but the actual watercolor laden paper on the outside of the plastic.  You can get the urge to watercolor and be creating in just a few seconds--just add a brush and water.

Once you get started, it's hard to stop---this is one of many backgrounds made during a brief crafty session.

In order to get an accurate arch I employed a nearby flower pot saucer--it had the basic curve I was looking for.  I set the saucer on the paper and adhered the individual die cut letters, following the curve--easy!

A little watercoloring on the butterfly background and some essential sequins finished this cheerful, Summer-y card.  Makes you think of rainbow sherbet doesn't it?
