Color Burst Cards

I know the new release just happened but I am teaching a class on July 22nd at The Stamp Addict in San Diego and I just had to show you two of the cards I am teaching in that class. I used the new Ken Oliver Color Bursts for the background on the one card and to color the paper used for the die in the other. I love the vibrant colors and look you get with these and you get something different everytime, so each card is a unique work of art!

On this card I used the Row of Poppies Die, Studio Square Layers Dies, Postage Square Layers Dies, and the Contour Typewriter Keys Dies.

I snipped off the top poppy and put it inside the card as an added little bonus for the person who opens the card! Doing that also helped the die fit on the square!

The second card is a simple stamp and layer on top of the Color Burst background. An easy fast but stunning card for any occasion!

I used the Open Studio Monterey Sunrise stamp for this card.

I hope you like the cards and I promise my next post will be with dies from the new release...I am having a blast playing with the new stuff!!!

I love today's cards (also past cards). I'm sure many of us who can't attend your class would appreciate having instructions. Any possibility to getting them?
