Hi there - looking for a way to use the other section of the new Blooming Poppy Die? We used the left side in my previous post - now we get to play with a beautiful butterfly and some glitter. Jean Okimoto here today with a flowery summer design for you.
- NEW Blooming Poppy Die 99223
- NEW Pinpoint Rectangle Layers Die Set 30065
- Seeds of Happiness Stamp B2054
- Cascadia Butterfly Trio 99095
- Memento Dye Ink Refills - Angel Pink, Dandelion
- Brilliance Inkpads - Pearlescent Lime, Orange, Coral and Thyme - and Sunflower Yellow and Rocket Red Gold
- Daubers
Watercolor the background with diluted Angel Pink and Dandelion inks. Daub the diecut with Brilliance inks. Cut the large Cascadia Butterfly from Scor-Tape. Attach it behind the Blooming Poppy butterfly and brush glitter onto the adhesive.
Here's a quick tip for you. The Pinpoint Rectangle Layers add a perfect frame to any design. Use it to cut custom-sized greeting shapes too. Stamp the greeting and cut it with the one of the smaller dies - then trim off any excess using just one edge of a larger die.
Please visit our Ideas Gallery for detailed directions and supply lists for today's project - and other designs from our new release.
Thanks for visiting - see you again this evening!
Jean, it's a beautiful card! So light and bright at the same time! Love your use of pinpoint panels - they look great with that textured white cardstock! Perfect!

I so often tend to put things in the middle. I really like the layout here, and the colors.

Thanks Debbie - and it even has a little flower stamp on the side!

Thanks Susie! Try a few offset designs - then add a pop of color to balance the composition. I think you'll like it!
