Mon 29

the giant watering can in the sky

As I write this post, it's another rainy Sunday in Maine.  We seem to be stuck in a pattern of weekend rain.  Hence, another rain card!  This might make a good "sorry you're under the weather" card to send to a friend.  This is just one of the cards we'll be making at the Memory Box Catalog Party I'm hosting Monday the 29th.

I've titled this post "the giant watering can in the sky" and it features the GARDEN WATERING CAN (die 98859) along with some STITCHED CLOUDS (die no. 30053) which are creating the SPLASHING PUDDLES (die no. 99062).

The SPLASHING PUDDLES background is cut from a piece of 12X12 Rolling Hills Memory Box paper from the Brioche line that I've been hanging onto.  (I only have one piece left!)  It is mounted on a Pool notecard.

The STITCHED CLOUDS are cut from Pool Distressed Dots paper and the smaller one is popped up with a dimensional foam dot.

The GARDEN WATERING CAN is cut/embossed in gold shimmer cardstock and mounted on a Wobble so it can move as if it is pouring down the rain from the sky.

All of this rain really helps the garden to grow...and the weeds, too!

Happy Crafting!

Love that big watering can in the sky die! Your card is adorable with those big puddles!

Just purchased the puddles die last week and I already love it...the owner of my LSS had a card on display using it and I cannot wait to CASE her example. TFS ideas.

This puddle and watering can are such much fun. I just love mine and they are so versatile.

cute, love those puddles... I think my weeds are doing better than my plants with all this water, hard to keep up with them
