Foxy Friends Postage

Good Morning Crafty Friends!

I'm sharing a card today using several "critter" stamps, new dies and even a coordinating stencil.  I haven't been able to keep my hands off the new Fox stamps and today I added their friend Nathaniel Bunny to the inside of the card.

Using the coordinating stencil for the postage dies, I sponged various ink colors onto the backgrounds of each postage piece.  Next, I colored the bunny, foxes and butterfly with Tombo markers, detail cut them out and split up the message by cutting the clear phrase stamp into two parts and stamping separately---stamp surgery! All pieces were added to the Beaded Background layer which I die cut from Kraft paper.  I just love the Peek-A-Boo dots!

For the inside of the card, check out this adorable Nathaniel Bunny...looks like he's saying, "Yoo Hoo, fox friends, don't forget about me!"

Good Morning,  Marnie here again today with a mostly stamped card.  I fell in love with the Windswept CS202J stamp as soon as I saw it.  I love the idea of using it for ever season and time of day.  Of course this may be because I'm from the Windy City?  Who knows?   Here I stamped it in Green and misted the entire background in blue.  For the letters I stamped the Pensive Alphabet CS2212J stamp in brown  and cut out the letters for my greeting.   Finally the bird was cut from red cardstock using the new Birds of a Feather 30045 Open Studio set.   I did go back and add some Stickles dots to some of the leaves to give a bit of sparkle and dimension it looked flat without it.  I do love how it turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by today for tons more inspiring ideas check out  The new Memory Box Look Book it has so many amazing samples from the latest release you really really don't want to miss it!

Fillipa Corner + Sunrise Poppy = Pretty Card

The FILLIPA CORNER die no. 99146 and the SUNRISE POPPY die no. 99133 work really well together to create a really pretty card.

I die cut several of the Fillipa Corners from a variety of printed Memory Box papers (current patterned papers and discontinued ones from my paper stash).  Then I used the same papers to cut multiples of the Sunrise Poppy, being careful to save all the little flower parts.  The fun part was combining Fillipa Corners with matching Sunrise Poppy outlines and then filling in each flower with a coordinating paper.

I added pearls on the ends of the curlicues on both the Fillipa Corner and the Sunrise Poppy for a little shine.

I then stamped a word on each card front that I selected from the WORDS TO LIVE BY CL5154stamp set.

I still have quite a few pieces left to mix and match for a few more cards.

Happy Crafting!

Can't Help But

Smile...because the weekend is here!!

I finally had a play with the new Ken Oliver color bursts.  For this card I used them more in the vein of a watercolor technique to create a smoother vibrant look to the design.

The sentiment was created using the set from the new release called Smile.  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder to create a resist technique for the watercolors.

For the inside of the card, just the top and bottom edges of the watercolor paper were colored to coordinate with the front panel design.

The word die cut Smile (30012) was die cut twice to create a shadow effect.  The bottom "smile" was cut in black cardstock and the top layer was cut using the same colors as the rest of the design and then adhered to the black cardstock.

Thanks for visiting today, and I hope your weekend is creative and fantastic.

Aberdeen Branches, Pennington Rose and Row of Poppies cards from Pam...

Spring and flowers...is it a coincidence that Mother's Day is in the Spring?!  I'm sure you are all enjoying your flowers and plants you received!  I know I am!

So I'll carry on with three flower card ideas today.

I used the NEW Aberdeen Branches die for my first card...die cut in green, then used scraps of yellow and orange to cut extra flowers and the butterfly.  Trim those cuts and glue in the centers to the green cut.

The sentiment is from the NEW poppystamps clear set 'Into the Words'.

I used a white Signo Broad gel pen on the little white flowers and Ranger White Enamel to make the green 'buds' white.

Here's a close up so you can see a little better...

How about a CAS card using the NEW Pennington Rose die and NEW Kindness of People stamp...I love how this turned out. The beauty of a single Rose! :D

And one more card using the NEW Row of Poppies die, the NEW Open Studio Postage Rectangle Layers die set and the NEW Open Sudio Party Time Clear Stamp set. Poppies are layered on one of the Open Studio Stitched Rectangle Layers dies.

All three cards are A2 size.

Thanks for visiting us today! Happy card-making weekend to you!

Enjoy Card

Good Morning Everyone!

For today's card I used several stamps from the new release.  There are so many wonderful products in the spring release, it is hard to pick what to use.

FullSizeRender (21)

To create this card I stamped and embossed the Stars at Night image onto White cardstock  using Black ink and Clear embossing powder.  The word "Enjoy" came from the Smile Clear Stamp Set. This was stamped using Versa Ink and Clear embossing powder.  Sponge the cardstock using Salty Ocean Distress Ink.  Mist the inked background lightly with water to create some texture. On a strip of White cardstock stamp the sentiment, "the sky's the limit" using Black ink.  Mount the stamped strip onto Licorice cardstock.  Assemble the card as shown.  Embellish the card front with Stars.

Gilded English Rose Bouquet

Good Morning!  Marnie here today and I have a very elegant clean and simple card for you today using the English Rose Bouquet 99139.  Here I've used it two ways first I embossed it into the Ivory Cardstock and second I cut it out of Gold Mirror Card and foam taped it over and offset just a bit.  It is very simple but very elegant especially when matted with more Gold Mirror Card.

I adore how the Gold enhances the embossing in the leaves they really stand out.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Hope you have an Amazing Day!
