Fairlyland Butterflies Hello

Happy Friday, everyone.  Sherry here with another monochromatic card featuring the Fairyland Butterflies.  I will be teaching a monochromatic class at Ultimate Hobbies in May, date not yet set, and this card will be one of the ones we'll be creating.

Mono Hello 5

This die is beautiful just as it is, and you can also separate the butterflies, making it very versatile.  I love when that happens!  As you can see, this is quite a simple card.  I once again used the Open Studio Rectangle Layers to create the framed piece. To create the window, I arranged and secured two different sized dies from the set onto the cutting plate so there would be an area wide enough to accommodate the Hello Script sentiment, and ran that through the die cutting machine.  I then cut the Fairlyland Butterfly from tan card stock, attaching them to the back of the framed piece.  I ran the separate antenna die through twice to cut six antenna pieces for contrast, attaching them to the butterfly centers. I used foam tape on the back of the entire piece and adhered it to the front of the tan A2 card base.  The "Hello" was cut from the same tan card stock and adhered to the front.

Mono Hello 3

I added three little pearls after Hello, on the butterflies and a couple more on the background for good measure.  It all went together pretty quickly.  Hope you enjoy this one!  Thanks for stopping by.
