Butterflies and flowers are great together and the new Delicate Flight design is the perfect combination for any occasion. Create a stash of these - and some stamped greetings - and save yourself a trip to the cardshoppe. A set of ten would be a lovely gift for a special teacher too. Jean Okimoto here, let's get started...
- NEW Delicate Flight Stamp F2043
- Open Studio Stitched Rectangle Layers Die Set 30009
- Lavender and Wisteria Notecards
- Wisteria Envelope
Poppystamps Hope and Thanks Clear Stamp Set CL405
- Radiant Neons Inkpads - Electric Blue, Electric Green, Electric Purple
- VersaFine Onyx Black Inkpad
- Daubers
Create a soft background by daubing light layers of Electric Blue, Purple and Green Radiant Neons onto the smoother side of watercolor paper. Heat-set it with a dry iron on the cotton setting - and you're ready to stamp and watercolor.
Use the two largest Stitched Rectangle Layer dies to custom-cut a narrow rectangle. Cut it with the 3.4" x 4.4" die first, then cut one long edge with the largest die to create a rectangle to showcase your stamped design.
Add a greeting - from the Poppystamps Hope and Thanks set - and some sequins. It's as easy as that - so make a few extra cards while you're at it. You'll be glad you did.
