Floral Card for Spring

 

Hi everyone. Is it Spring in your neck of the woods yet? I am beginning to wonder if Spring is ever going to come. Good thing we can make floral cards until the real ones come!

For today's card, I blended some Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean Distress ink onto white cardstock.  I misted it lightly to blend the colors and then splattered it with big drops of water to create large splotches on the background.  You can really get different looks on the background depending on how you add water to the ink.  Here is a close up of the background:

To finish the card, I added the Florina Corner 99081 that I had cut from black cardstock as well as some green stripes and white pearls.
