Fairyland Butterfly
Good morning Memory Box fans and welcome to the first day of March! I hope your weekend is going well and is creative. The weather has been a little crazy this week and lots of delayed starts for the kids which translated into later nights in my craft room.
I love this Fairyland Butterflies from the new collection, and it is oh so versatile!
I used a 3x3 Art square from Inchie Arts and cut an impression into the square. The die doesn't cut all the way through but leaves a beautiful impression which I then colored up with Copic markers and colorless blender and create a watercolor look on the tile. I cut the die a second time with 2 sided adhesive and then used neon pink glitter and placed behind the tile and lined up the butterflies.
There was one full butterfly that otherwise would've been hidden behind the tile that I cut out and adhered to the tile and bent the wings to create some dimension. The background was created the stencil Scraped Paint (with pink pigment ink and clear embossing powder) which looked like rain to me:)
The sentiment is from the exclusive set available at Simple Pleasures.
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
