Splendid Clarkia Blossoms
Can't wait till Spring? Neither can I! Jean Okimoto here today, with a flowery any-occasion card featuring the beautiful new Splendid Clarkia Die.
- Splendid Clarkia Die 99068
- Open Studio Stitched Rectangle Layers Die Set 30009
- Open Studio Oh Hello Again Die Set 30010
- Notecards for diecutting - Aloe, Thistle, Violet
- Radiant Neon Inkpads - Electric Blue, Electric Purple, Electric Green
- Fireworks! Spritz - Grape Jelly
- Sheer Shimmer Spritz - Gold
Sponge the Radiant Neons onto watercolor paper. Spritz it with Grape Jelly and Gold. Cut it with the Stitched Rectangle Layer.
Cut Splendid Clarkia from portions of Aloe and Violet Notecards. Attach painter's tape behind the Violet pieces to keep the petals together. Attach Scor-tape behind the Aloe blossoms and insert the Violet pieces. Brush glitter onto the remaining adhesive in the center of the blossoms.
Attach a small scrap of the spritzed paper behind the largest blossom to match the glittered centers. Cut two "hellos" and layer them for dimension. Attach everything to a 5.5" square card of textured white cardstock. Add gold sequins.

Great Big Thanks to everyone from the Many Thanks, Beyond the Box and Birthdays Happen! classes at Impress last weekend. It was great seeing all of you again - hope you liked the cards and special techniques - and are inspired to create more cards featuring the great products we used.
Thanks for visiting...hope you'll return for another project this evening.
Verry pretty. Love the hello die. Will need to get. I like the aloe & violet color combo.
