Meadow Bird and Bamboo
Good morning! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Simple Pleasures is celebrating their 20th anniversary this weekend!! The weather is trying to interfere with the good times, but it isn't wining! We had some great make and takes using the exclusive Memory Box dies and stamps and an inky good time was had by all. You can find all of the information on the exclusive stamps and dies on the Simple Pleasures blog and to see some more wonderful creations with the exclusives head on over to their Facebook page.
With the snow and wind blowing outside, I, of course, went with a warmer springy themed card!
The background was created with distress inks and applied with the ink blending tool and sponge. The butterflies were cut using one of my favorite dies called Peaceful Butterfly Wings. I cut the Tall Bamboo twice and layered them to create a hiding place for the birds. The birds are from Open Studio line called Meadow Branch Set
Thanks for visiting today!

Wow, great work. I LOVE your color choices and subject. I enjoy seeing signs of Spring because it warms my heart after all of the snow and below zero temperatures. TFS.
