Tanglewood Frame
Good morning everyone!
Welcome to Day 3 of the Memory Box blog blitz. I hope you've been enjoying the amazing creations and are getting inspired...I know I am!
Well I'm still pretending it's not Winter, and I'm residing somewhere in the tropics:)
I love me some bold bright colors, and I created the background paper and for the hummingbirds using Dylusion sprays. The frame die cut is called Tanglewood Frame and measures exactly to fit on the front of an A2 card base...how perfect for a quick and decorative card. Your friends will think you're a rock star!
Laura talked yesterday about double sided adhesive sheets. These sheets are perfect for using with the Memory Box dies that are very detailed. I attached plain white card stock to a 6x6 sheet of double sided adhesive, trimmed the extra adhesive so it wouldn't stick on my die cutting plates. The die cut the white card stock and voila, the backside of the die cut paper already has adhesive.
The gorgeous hummingbirds are called Forest Hummingbirds. The die includes the large hummingbird and the smaller one. For this design I cut out the die twice and adhered to the Tanglewood Frame using a foam dots. The sentiment is called Wishing You Combo.
Don't forget to leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning the Tanglewood Frame die. Check back this afternoon to see the amazing creation from Jean!
Thanks for stopping by today and best of luck in the draw.

Gorgeous card. Love the beautiful intricate die against that beautiful coloured background. Funny how we always want something we don't have. I wish is was cooler. It's a hot wet evening here and tomorrow is set to be 35 degrees (~95 Fahrenheit) with more rain and storms. Well at least it has been great mushroom growing weather.

WOW! THIS ROCKS! This card is over the top gorgeous! What a nice way to wake up today. . . .this is the first thing I looked at on the computer today so it was a real "wake-me-up" and I absolutely love the color combo and these dies. This looks like a beautiful Caribbean Scene where it's nice and warm and I can just feel and smell the warm ocean breezes in the background. Great Card Shelby and I hope to win these dies and try my hand at making this frozen Tundra here in Pgh Pa a little warmer by looking at beautiful scenes like this Great Job Shelby! Love It.
