I'm in the mood for making valentines this week, and there are soooo many great NEW dies from Memory Box for this purpose. I decided to create something a little unexpected by combining these two dies:
The Steampunk Corner is a great addition to my collection of Memory Box gear dies. I like to keep a bunch of them cut out in metallic gold and silver papers, especially for when I need a clean and simple card for a guy.
- Steampunk Corner 99084
- Gearworks Border 98849
- Deluxe Gear Set 98962
- Antique Gear Set 98966
- Gear Assembly 98964
- Mini Gears 98847
You can see that I added a few extra gears from my stash to each of the cards. Clean and simple steampunk--who'd have ever thought to hear those words together!
Happy Crafting!
It would be helpful if you had direct links to these dies.

It works--both dies together! I like the card you created LOTS! Thanks for including the list of dies.

Thanks for your comment, Marilyn. It forced me to go into Typepad and figure out how to link the names of the dies to pictures and descriptions of them from the Memory Box catalog. You'll see that I added the links in blue in the post. I'll do this in all of my posts from now. I'll even go back into some of my previous posts and practice! Anne

Very pretty cards, Anne! I have the tiny gears die and LOVE it. My favorite dies are the smallest as I have always loved dainty things, even as a child.

Who would think to add gears to an elegant Valentine card. Terrific inspiration!

Very creative card. Love the Beloved Hearts Die as an added element to the Steampunk Corner Die. I love the looks of metallic gold and silver steampunk gears. These dies are a must have. Very nice!

Oh I love and need that gear die cut. I made a steampunk card this week and did not want to cut a stamped gear out so my card went without. I love the way you incorporated both dies. I will definitely get the gear set.

The name of the gear die makes me think of the opposite sex and the gears going round and round as the male sex does get you in a spin sometimes - Ideal for their cards on special occasions thanks for sharing nice cards -

Love, love this combination of dies. Very well done. I would buy both just to create this card and to create my own deigns.
