Pink is the new green
Hi everyone! Holy cow, Christmas is not that far away- 2weeks! Yikes!! Where is the time going?!!? I hope all of you have started on your holiday crafting. For some reason I am ahead of the game this year. I have all my cards made, over 100!!
Today's card features my new favorite color pink! Margarita- you made me a believer. Normally it is all about the green, but my pink ombre card just feels so festive!
Unlike most of my cards I am using two dies I especially like. The traditional ornament and classic ornament. After I die cut both of my ornaments, I found a wee surprise waiting for me. The classic ornament cut with the two registers for lining the stamp and die up.
I wasn't going to let this little glitch make me scrap the card and idea. After all isn't that what bling is for!! Covering up problems?!!?. So that's what I did I covered the holes with bling and added some more by the other ornament to balance the whole thing.
The ombre was done freehand with my copic markers, R29, RV14 and RV23.
No series this month, I am doing a potpourri of cards that are me and are just plain fun, since this is my last month as a designer for Memory Box. Stay tune for more to remember me by.
Beautiful card! I often use the negative pieces of die cuts too. Love the color scheme.
I have this die and you have inspired me to create this card.

Sue, this is elegantly gorgeous!! I loved how you fixed your "glitch". As a stamping teacher I have had to be very creative at times to help my ladies fix a "glitch"! Bling definitely covers up problems plus adds interest. Going to try the ombre technique with my Spectrum Noirs.

I love this idea and think pink is a wonderful Christmas color. Love your pink glitch fixers. Such a pretty card. I think I'll have to try it too.
