Very Merry, Very Bright
Very Merry, Very Bright...and very late today! I reorganized my desk and transferred my post dates to a new 14-month calendar and accidentally scheduled today's posts for November 12th. Rather than try to whip up a quick card (I'm never good at that) - I decided to go for something more special. Hope you like it! Jean Okimoto here today - let's get started...
- Starfall Stamp G2002
- Merry and Bright Combo Stamp B2005 (there's a little star stamp on the side)
- Parchment Notecard
- Granny Smith Envelope
- Granny Smith and Key Lime Notecards (for diecutting)
- Curled Ribbons Die 98936
- Cabrini Ornament Die 98926
- Cosmic Star Set Die 98464
- Craft Mat
- Fireworks Spritzes - Lilac Posies, Tangelo
- Sheer Shimmer Spritz - Gold
- VersaMark Inkpad
- Brilliance Pearlescent Thyme Inkpad
The Cabrini Ornament is diecut from watercolor paper spritzed with Lilac Posies, Tangelo and Gold. Dry the inks - then stamp Starfall with VersaMark and emboss it with detail gold powder.
Cut the ornament again from gold mirror cardstock - and cut the two leaves from Granny Smith. Place a few strips of Scor-Tape on the back of the diecut and attach the little pieces. Push the excess tape (at the bottom of the ornament) back onto itself. Attach the ornament and ribbon to the card. Stamp the greeting and attach some Cosmic Stars. Coordinate it with a Granny Smith Envelope for a bright pop of color in the mailbox...it's sure to be opened first!
