Let Heaven and Nature Sing Birch Trees

Good Morning, Marnie here.  Today I have for you a card using the Birch Trees Stencil - 88527  This really is a great Stencil and can be used for any season.  Today I have sponged it with Viva Decor 3D Stamp paint in mat Black on white card stock, so it looks like chalk ink.  The bird  from Resting Birds Die - 98527 was cut from Gold Mirror Card.  The Heaven Sings Stamp - B1385 was stamped on white card stock and inked with some light green ink.  All of this was layered onto Sage card stock and Patterned Paper then finally put onto a Sage Note A2 Card.

Merry, Bright, Spritzy, Shimmery and Sparkly

Merry, bright, sparkly, shimmery, spritzy, sequins - here they are, all on tonight's card!  Jean Okimoto here - with another holiday idea for you. I love jewel tones - hope you do too...

Memory Box Products

  • Cabrini Ornament Die 98926
  • Merry Cursive Die 98994
  • Zippy Dots Designer Stencil 88568
  • Pool Notecard (for diecutting)
  • Violet Notecard
  • Violet Envelope

Imagine Crafts Products

  • Craft Mat
  • Fireworks! Spritzes - Pear Tart, Bahama Blue, Grape Jelly
  • Sheer Shimmer Spritz - Gold
  • Delicata Golden Glitz Inkpad
  • Radiant Neons Electric Purple Inkpad
  • Daubers

Spritz the Fireworks! onto damp watercolor paper and let the colors mix and mingle for a while.  Spritz it with Gold - then air-dry everything for about 10 minutes.  Heat-set the inks.

Diecut Cabrini Ornament from gold mirror cardstock.  Diecut the center from the watercolor paper.  Cut a rectangle from a contrasting section of the watercolor paper.  Ink the edges of the ornament and the rectangle with Electric Purple.

Stencil some of the Zippy Dots with Golden Glitz.  It's just a little stencil, but I love how it adds the perfect finishing touch.  I use it often - I think you will too!

Add Merry Cursive, cut from Pool - and some sequins.  That's it!

Please visit our Ideas Gallery for detailed directions and supply lists for this card - and many more.

Thanks for stopping by - join us again tomorrow for a great project by Marnie!

Bundled Bear Hugs

Here's a winter card with the lovable, hugable Bundled Bear wrapped in a red felt scarf. Jean Okimoto here today, with a card that's sure to make someone smile!

Memory Box Products

  • Bundled Bear Die 98947
  • Snowflake Heart Die 99031
  • Metal Adapter Plate 98100
  • Flurry Frame Designer Stencil 88579
  • Licorice Notecard (for diecutting)
  • Thistle Notecard (for debossing)
  • Thistle Notecard and Envelope

Cut Bundled Bear from textured white cardstock and attach Scor-Tape strips to the scarf sections before removing the diecut from the die.  Remove it from the die and remove the diecut outline.

Cut the bear again from Licorice and attach the Licorice outline - the taped scarf area will keep the scarf pieces intact.  Adhere tape behind the eyes and mouth and attach the Licorice eyes and mouth to the adhesive appearing through the cutouts.

Cut the scarf pieces from red felt that's been stabilized with a layer of adhesive label paper.  Attach the felt scarf pieces over the white scarf pieces for dimension.

Cut a rectangle of Thistle and deboss it.  Cut Snowflake Heart from silver mirror cardstock.  Attach everything to a Thistle Notecard and coordinate it with a matching Thistle Envelope.

Visit our Ideas Gallery for detailed directions and supply lists for more holiday cards.

Thanks for stopping by - hope you'll be back for another card this evening...

Horse Country...

Hello and welcome to Outside the Box blog today! My post is a little bit different this time...I'm sharing two cards I created with Starlitstudio's exclusive new die from Memory Box, called Horse Country.

A Fall card...

and a Winter card...

I used the Memory Box Golf Club Landscape border die in the background on both cards. (I cut off the flag)

On the Fall card I added the small leaf from the Memory Box Marvelous Maple diepoppystamps new Fancy hello die, Trotting Pony die and Country Fence die. On the inside I used the Memory Box Give Thanks Combo stamp (leaves and sentiment) and Memory Box A-2 Notecards in Sky and Kraft.

On the Winter card I used Memory Box A-2 Notecards in Sapphire and White, Ho Ho Holly Leaves die and poppystamps new Vintage Seasons die. I just used the Greetings part on the front and on the inside, I cut the 's' from the end of Season's and stamped the words 'of the' from the Memory Box Wonderful Time Combo stamp.

The Christmas, Winter Horse Country scene card is spattered with white spray ink and then sprayed with Imagine Crafts Sparkle Spray.

I will be making Horse Country up in Spring and Summer versions too!  Thanks for visiting today and Season's Greetings to you!

Happy Day Card

FullSizeRender (9)

Hi everyone!

Today I have a clean and simple card for you. I need several birthday cards in the next few months so I thought I would create a card that could be used for Christmas and winter birthdays.

FullSizeRender (10)

I inked a portion of the "Deers in the Field" stamp with green ink. Then I inked the "Snowfall" stamp with Versa Ink and embossed the image using White embossing powder. Using Antique Linen Distress Ink Pad I sponged the sky area. I drew in the moon with a White Sharpie Marker. Stamp the sentiment with Black pigment ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.

Simply change your sentiment to creat a Christmas Card.

Memory Box Products used:

  • Deers in the Field Stamp #F1944
  • Snowfall Stamp #G1999
  • Wishing You Combo Stamp #B1853
  • Latte Dot, Parchment and Dill Cardstock

Have a great week!

Christmas in white on kraft

Hello dear friends! It's Evgenia Petzer with you today with an easy, but yet very pretty card, using white as a main accent.

The delicacy of Memoy Box dies will look even better if you use the kraft and then you will cut the white cardstock with your dies. Then add just little bits and pieces and your card will be ready:

Dreaming of a Neon Christmas

Radiant Neons for Christmas?  Why not - the Memory Box Merry Background looks great with them! Jean Okimoto here with another holiday design for you this evening.

Memory Box Products

  • Merry Background Stamp G1998
  • Frosted Spruce Tree Die 99005
  • Snowflake Heart Die 99031
  • Peony Notecard (layering strip)

  • Peony Envelopes

Imagine Crafts Inkpads

  • Radiant Neons - Electric Pink, Electric Coral, Electric Orange

Stamp Merry Background on white cardstock with Tuxedo Black and emboss it with detail clear powder.  Mask the adjacent areas and daub the Radiant Neons onto the "merrys."  Buff any residual ink off with a tissue.  Dry the inks.

Diecut Frosted Spruce Tree from pink glittered craft foam - use the craft foam that's about 1/16" thick.

Scrunch up some waxed paper and rub it briskly over the Snowflake Heart Die - this helps release the delicate little snowflakes and stars.  Diecut it from gold mirror cardstock.

Attach everything to a White Notecard.  Coordinate your card with a matching Peony Envelope and send it to someone who loves neons!

Thanks for visiting - before you go, scroll down for another holiday idea...White Christmas, in frosty blues and purples.  Join us again tomorrow - Evgenia has a great card to share with you!

Hello all of you out there in cyberspace,

Today I wanted to share this card created by Annelvira Uberti, one of our teachers here at The Stamp Addict in San Diego. She will be teaching this card along with 3 others on Thursday Nov. 20th and Saturday Nov. 22nd, so if you are in the area, make sure you give us a call and reserve a seat in one of them!
