A New Adventure
Hello everyone! This is Dave, and it has been a long time since I have posted! I co-own Memory Box with my wife Monica and these past few years have kept us busy behind the scenes as we work hard to keep everything going at Memory Box and Poppy Stamps. But over the past year, we have also been working on something new!
We just launched a brand new site birchpressdesign.com featuring another pursuit - letterpress stationery!
You'll notice that I have used a touch of my designs to the stationery - and you will probably recognize several craft die and rubber stamp designs that I have created over the years.
As I added card designs and experimented with the letterpress process I realized that I was being inspired by a lot of the things around me. We added some handmade ceramic pieces and wood covered journals from my favorite companies - and then things started expanding a bit more. You'll notice a growing section dedicated to cake plates - our family loves baking, so this was really essential! My daughter Emma and one of our Memory Box staff, Lora, baked all of the cakes you see in the ceramic cake plate photos - which led to a category of cake toppers. And so you can see, we have grown the site from a simple collection of pre-made letterpress cards to a collection of beautiful items for the home, carefully selected for their quality and style.
Please check out the gorgeous new site - we will be adding to it each week! Memory Box and Poppystamps will continue on as usual - in fact poppystamps is having a new Winter release next week! - but we are excited to for this brand new adventure. We hope you like it too!
Congrats Dave and Monica! WOW! Gorgeous!

Very cool, Dave and Monica! I loved everything on the site - and kudos to Emma and Lora for their cake-baking. Perhaps those two should start a bakery?!

Love the Little Fish, Into the Garden and Falling Petals letterpress notecards! Great new adventure. I started with printmaking in college, then being obsessed with letterpress after-college but without the means to buy a press, then I turned to stamping...not knowing that I would spent much more on that then the original idea of getting a press. Ha! :) But I still love the creativity. Thank you so much for sharing.

Congratulations to you and your wife! I LOVE the look of letter press and your samples and products seem. I bought a letterpress kit last year and haven't tried it yet. I will be checking your new site as soon as I leave here.
I chose this comment section because your name is on it. For two years I have been trying to locate your paper pad Yuletide without accomplishment. I have spent countless hours on line at scrapbook stores, Memory Box site, Amazon and eBay, to name a few. I am praying that you would consider re-releasing Yuletide. Kittie Caracciolo has an amazing card on her blog using this paper and I saw an example on you blog done with the dancer die and the skirt is also from the Yuletide pad. If you know of anyone that may have a pad or finds one behind a file cabinet please, tell them I really, really want to buy it.
Thank you for time and consideration.
