Start a summer card with a watercolored background, stencil Bubbles over it, add some diecuts and a dry-embossed background - it's quick, easy and sure to impress! Jean Okimoto here - let's get started...
- Bubbles Designer Stencil 88574
- Line Up Designer Stencil 88551
- Precious Daisies Die 98813
- Hello Script Die 98580
- Parchment Cardstock (side-folded 4.25" x 5.5" card)
- Parchment Envelope
Lightly spritz white cardstock with water. Ink a 4" soft rubber brayer with Spectrum Kaleidacolor and spritz it. Roll the inks onto the damp watercolor paper. Air-dry it for a few minutes, then heatset it.
Stencil Bubbles (avoid the big dot near the bottom right corner) with Versamark and emboss it with detail gold powder.
Diecut 2 big and 1 small flower from the Precious Daisies set. Snip off the "hanger" and layer the three flowers. Attach a green sequin. Attach a 1/2" wide strip of Scor-Tape horizontally behind gold mirror cardstock and diecut Hello Script.
Dry-emboss Line Up on Parchment Cardstock. Here's the stacking sequence I used for the Grand Calibur:
- Gray Base Plate
- Memory Box Metal Adapter Plate
- Stencil
- Cardstock
- Rubber Embossing Mat
- Light Pink Embossing Plate
Assemble the card - attach the flower with foam dots. Coordinate the card with a matching Parchment Envelope.
