Butterfly arch
Hi everyone!! Like my fellow DT, I am having lots of fun with the summer release of dies.
Today's card features the Delicate butterfly arch and the Solid arch background. This arch fits the length of and A2 card (5 1/2 inches) perfectly. But I made it work for a vertical A2 card by just trimming the edges.
I cut the solid arch first and then I cut the delicate arch. I colored the delicate arch with my copic markers. A quick tip is to not push out the loose pieces until after you color. It makes it easier to color and you don't have to be so careful with the delicate branches.
Some times pieces will fall out before you start to color, but that is OK , just don't push out the others until you are done coloring.
Using a glue pen, adhere the delicate arch to the solid arch and with foam tale mount it to your base card and add a sentiment.
Every now and again Miss Pinkie meows her approval of a card. She liked this one and meowed to be included in the posting!
Hope you enjoyed today's creation!
Beautiful. Reminds me of cloisonne.

Hi Sue,
First, I love Miss Pinkie, beautiful coloration. Now, I love your card. Although is looks simple, it very elegant. I love how you colored the entire scene, gives the card a dimensional look. Great job.
