Textured Rhapsody Bliss
Hi everyone!! I hope you are enjoying our stencil blog blitz! My fellow designers sure have shown all of us some great uses of Memory Box's stencils.
Today, I am showing you a technique I really love with my stencils. For my card I created a negative mask and sponged with neon bright inks through the textured rhapsody stencil # 88515. Memory Box's textured rhapsody stencil is my go to stencil.
When the sponging is complete, I remove my mask and grab an extra fine sharpie and I outline the the sponged areas of the stencil. An alternate way is leaving the stencil inlace and tracing around the shapes. Either works well and it goes quickly. It gives the stencil a stamp like look and it emphasizes the shapes on the stencil.
Here is another version of the same technique for an anniversary card for the hubby.
Hope you like this technique and will give it a try yourself! Let me know what you think of this technique by leaving me a comment and you will have until Sun, May 18 at 6pm EST for a chance to win this stencil. Winners will be chosen at random and posted on the Outside the Box blog on Monday, May 19.
Good luck!
