NEW…Floating Butterflies!
Hi - Yes, it's Happy Friday and time for another reveal of more just-released designs from our beautiful Summer 2014 Collection. Jean Okimoto here - with another quick card for you this afternoon. It would be perfect for graduation thank you cards. Or maybe for parents thanking the grad for receiving that long-anticipated degree!
- NEW Floating Butterflies Background Die 98991
- NEW Floating Butterflies Die 98978
- Darla Butterfly Die 98264
- Kaleidoscope Butterfly Die 98261
- Thank You Background G1922
- Graphite Cardstock
- Parchment Cardstock (5" square card)
Stamp Thank You Background on Parchment Cardstock with Brilliance Starlight Black and dry the ink. Diecut a stencil of the Floating Butterflies Background from The Crafter's Workshop Stencil Plastic. Stencil the butterflies with Radiant Neons Electric Blue, Electric Green and Electric Purple.
Emboss them with Imagine Crafts Iridescent Embossing Powder.
Diecut Floating Butterflies from Graphite Cardstock. Attach Scor-tape behind a piece of Graphite Cardstock and cut two of the Darla Butterfly antennae - and one of the Kaleidoscope Butterfly Antennae. Layer the diecut outlines over the stenciled butterflies and attach them with the self-adhesive antennae.
Attach turquoise, green and lavender sequins. That's it!
Our great new Collection is arriving in stores right now - be sure your favorite retailer has placed their order. It's already available at the Tukwila Impress - and the dies will be arriving at the University Village store tomorrow. You'll love the beautiful designs!
Also wanted to send a big thanks to everyone from last Monday's JUST SAYING THANKS class at Impress. It was the stampiest class we've had in a while - but we managed to add a bunch of stencils and diecuts too - thanks for working so hard!
Looking for more card ideas? You'll find some great projects in the Ideas Gallery on our website.
Have a great weekend - but before you go, be sure to scroll down to see some photos from Pam's class - and some of her great cards too!
And now I'm kicking myself for not requesting this die! Gorgeous, Jean!

Jean,
Your card is fabulous! Love the colors, and very surprised the butterfly outlines were dies, thought you had drawn them...great dies. Your class cards are spectacular, wish I could go, I would definitely enjoy it. Can't wait to see more.

Your card is beautiful. I love the butterflies. Do you think the Radiant Neons are more neony than the Hero Arts neons? I already have the Hero but was wondering about a comparison. Having not seen the Radiant, do you think I would know the difference?

Thanks for your comments everyone! Beverly…the Imagine Crafts Radiant Neons are vibrant, emboss-able, blendable pigment inks and perfect for stenciling and stamping. Air-dry them in a minute or two - or you can quickly dry them with a heat tool. We love to emboss with Radiant Neons - detail clear EP for a smooth gloss, Imagine Crafts Iridescent EP for more sparkle, or a pearl EP for a shimmery luster. Haven't used the HA dye ink neons - I like the versatility of the Radiant Neon pigment inks…and my students love them too!
