Hi - Jean Okimoto here - with a bright and easy card for you. Gears and mechanical objects aren't often described as happy - but these gears look quite happy to me. What do you think?
Bright, punched circles of cardstock are layered between a Gearworks Borders diecut from black and white cardstock. It's a quick card that would be perfect for a birthday, thank you, or graduation card too.
- Gearworks Border Die 98849
- Mini Gears Die 98847
- Urban Lowercase Alphabet Set 98874
- Cardstock - Holly Berry, Pool, Taffy, Violet, Key Lime
- Key Lime Notecard and Envelope
The new Gearworks Border Die is the featured here - and the matching Mini Gears Die pieces are either layered over the border or attached directly to the card.
Here's another idea featuring a quick, easy - and always unique - watercolored background technique I love...
- Zippy Dots Designer Stencil 88568
- Thank You Background G1922
- Adorable Posies 98837
- Twisty Stalk 98832
- Wisteria Cardstock (or a portion of a Wisteria Notecard)
- Granny Smith Cardstock
- Pool Cardstock
- Pool Notecard
- Pool Envelope
- Kaleidacolor Riviera Inkpad
- Brilliance Pearlescent Jade Inkpad
- Radiant Neons Electric Purple Inkpad
Brayer the water-spritzed Riviera inks onto slightly damp watercolor paper - tilt the paper if necessary to disperse any puddles of ink. It's that easy!
Looking for more thank you card ideas? Join us at the Tukwila Impress for the JUST SAYING THANKS class on Memorial Day, May 26th. We'll make 6 cards featuring some of our favorite dies, stamps and stencils - and a variety of cool typestyles too!
Please visit our Cards Gallery for more details and instructions for both of today's cards.
Thanks for visiting...
