Hey, Y'all! How's it going in your neck of the woods?
Yesterday was the last day of the blitz, so I hope y'all left lots of comments for a chance at winning one of the terrific stencils from our last release.
I see I'm following Eugenia this morning - talk about a tough act to follow - sheesh!
But I'll try my best! Today's card features one of the new Memory Box stencils, an "old" die, and a favorite stamp.
S U P P L I E S
Memory Box die (Delia Butterfly), stencil (Modern Flower Power), and stamp (Thank You); Inks: Ranger Distress Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles, Iced Spruce (Ranger); Paper: Neenah 110-lb cardstock; Accents: gems (Mark Richards); Tools: corner rounder, label punch (EK Success), foam ink applicators (Ranger); Other: foam dimensional squares
I lightly pounced the stencil with my foam ink applicators (mildly inked). Not only does this keep you from bullying your stencil, it allows you to lay down multiple layers for a nice, subtle blending of the inks. Then I die cut the butterfly and adhered her to the card, added a little bling, and punched out a stamped sentiment. And there you have it - simple, elegant, and easy as pie!

Great card! Loved your stenciled butterfly. And I agree about the pastries (plural in my case as I have a bit of a self control problem when it comes to sweets). :) Thanks for sharing.
