Pam here...Take a look at the new Star Garlands die! Isn't it grand! Sorry if you have the Star Spangled Banner stuck in your head for the rest of the day...rehearsing for the 4th of July! : )
I used the words from the happy and birthday cloud dies and the Classic Uppercase alphabet for USA.
Memory Box White A2 Notecard for the card base... Cranberry and Sapphire notecards for the die cuts and Silver glitter cardstock for the Star Garlands.
I had to try another card with the Star Garlands too... welcome baby!
On this card I only used half of the Star Garlands cut. Then I used the Parker lowercase Alphabet to spell baby and Alphabet Soup to spell out the name.
The Baby Carriage die is cut from white and mounted on a Cherry Blossom A2 Notecard. The Rattle and Duck are cut from the Baby Stuff die. I accented the rattle and the centers of the carriage wheels with a RV21 Copic marker.
The 'rug' the carriage is on is from the Palace Oval Frame Set.
I'm having a blast creating with the new Summer 2014 release! It sounds like they are arriving at stores everywhere! Happy creating to you and Thanks for looking today!
Oh wow! This is SUCH a cool new die and I LOVE how you used it in that a second card, so clever!

That garland is perfect for both cards, and I love how you chose to personalize the baby card. Beautifully done, Pam, as always!!! Thanks for the never-ending inspiration - you rock!

Pam,
I love the birthday card...so festive, so patriotic, I can hear the firecrackers going off. And the baby card, so dainty and sweet. Loving the new collection...I need to win the lottery.

Pam,
I forgot to ask...what adhesive did you use to attach the garland?

Hi Blue Rose… Thank you! Tombow mono multi… I just put little dots on the backs of the stars and some of the circles! It was easy!

When I first saw this die, I thought Christmas with the stars and balls. Thanks for showing it is for birthdays and babies, too.
