Spring Side Step Card
I decided today to go back to a card style I haven't made in awhile--the side step card.
Materials Used:
-
pre-scored side step card (directions available at many sites online)
-
Memory Box Patterned Papers: Key Lime and Squash Distressed Dots
-
Red cardstock; white cardstock to create the banner leaning out from the left panel; this gave me another place to anchor the Wildflower Corner better
-
Memory Box die Plush Bow 98870
-
Memory Box die Wildflower Corner 98895--I cut it twice, once from Key Lime Distressed Dot Paper and again from red cardstock. I used post-it tape on the back of the flower outline to hold the red flower pieces in place.
-
Memory Box die Tulip Border 98853--cut twice, once in Key Lime and again in red for the tulip blossoms
-
PoppyStamps die Grassland Border 825
-
Memory Box Stamp "Thinking of you..." B1765
- white pearls in two sizes
Here's a side view of the card.
And here's a close-up of the sentiment panel. Won't be long now before the tulips start poking up through the ground!
Happy Crafting!
lovely!

WoW!! Beautiful spring card! Love the Wildflower corner, perfect in this element!
Thank you for sharing this inspiring card today, I hadn't heard of a side step card before, now I will be visiting youtube to see if I can find a video, I am a visual learner.
