Jean Okimoto-Butterfly Favor Boxes-Memory Box

Cut Butterfly Favor Boxes from Memory Box Dots Signature Prints.

Snip through each wing on the scorelines - halfway down from the top on one wing, and halfway up from the bottom on the other wing.  Fold the box on the remaining scorelines.  Begin assembling the box by attaching the side tab.  Fold the bottom flaps towards the center and attach them with tape.

Fill the boxes.  Here's a quick tip - after attaching tape between the "cover flaps," clamp them with tweezers to secure the tape.  Next, partially (and carefully!) cross the two snipped wing centers and slot one into the other to close the box.

Use the Metal Adapter Plate and the other plates required for thin metal dies to cutter the delicate butterfly overlays. Cut the Swirl Butterfly and antennae from Violet, Juniper and Raspberry Cardstock.  Cut the Vivienne Butterfly and antennae from Granny Smith and Mango Cardstock.

Attach the butterfly overlays and antennae to the boxes with 1/8" wide Scor-Tape - use a pin to push any excess tape behind the diecuts.

And - double-dipping now, here's an Easter card for you...

Hi There!
Could you please tell me if this die fits into the Big Shot, Vagabond,
and Cuttlebug? Last year there was a box die that did not fit into
the standard machines and working in a stamp store, I get that
question a lot about this particular die. I hesitate to answer since we do not have the die in stock to try so I thought I would ask the pro.
Which machines can I use with this box die? Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter. Perhaps I can order one to make a sample for our store so that we can sell them. Customers want to see samples and that's what sells these dies for us. Thanks again!

Love these boxes!

Michele - I used the Grand Calibur - and it worked perfectly. Haven't tried the other machines you listed - but I've asked our Design Team about them, and will share their response. Jennifer just replied that it works with the ebosser. Shelby replied too - it works with the Big Shot. Thanks Jennifer and Shelby!

Those boxes are just beautiful, what a great, great party favor, and with Easter coming up, how can you go wrong? Great job, just love them.

I want them filled with Cadbury Mini-eggs! They'd be perfect!! TFS!

Thank you, I can tell our customers that it will work in the Big Shot which is what most of them own. I have both the Big Shot and the Vagabond si perhaps it works in both of them. Thank you for the quick response!

These boxes are so sweet! I love that box die!

GORGEOUS!!! MUST HAVE THIS DIE!!!!! The treat boxes are just beautiful and the card is so sweet! TFS!

Michele - more info from our designers: Bibiana used the Cuttlebug to diecut the Butterfly Favor Box. The cardstock and plates should be about 8.5" x 6" .
