Good Morning, Today I have a quick card using the Sophia Bloom Die(98840), Hello Script Die(98580) and the Distressed Grid Stencil(88531). I am having fun playing with all of the flower dies and stencils. I die cut the flowers in white and spritzed them with a mist I created out of gold acrylic paint and water, I heat set them a bit but set them aside to dry for a bit. Then I sponged Picked Raspberry Distress ink over the stencil and layered that over a piece I oulined with a Gold Wink of Stella pen. The Hello Script was cut out of black cardstock and then again in gold cardstock and layered on top of each other. Once the flowers were dry I adhered them to the card front with bits of foam tape(pop dots) and added little rhinestones to the center of each. For a finishing touch I added a bit of gold twine. I love the fresh way it turned out.
I hope you like it and have a Wonderful Day!
I focused on using dies for the two cards I'm posting today. Since I love turquoise-y colors with brown, I chose that color palette from the Memory Box Patterned Papers in Pool and accented with a warm brown cardstock and a scrap I had left of the Pocket Posie Paper from the Viola Collection.
Card Number 1:
I love how the layering of the various elements fills out the bouquet. Using the Small Alder Tree as a leafy element adds interesting texture against the card and supports the tulips.
And the curly tendrils and more leaves adds interest to the central base of the bouquet when placed on top of the other elements. The little bow "ties" it all together!
Card Number 2:
This card uses the Garden Watering Can as the holder for a bouquet.
Here's a close-up of the embossed details you get when die cutting the Garden Watering Can:

Hi Everyone,
Today I have a birthday card for you that mixes the old with the new, using two new stencils and a few older stamps.
The Lagoon Cardstock was dry embossed using the Brilliant Stencil. I ran the stencil through the Cuttlebug using the sandwich for embossing, giving it a subtle embossed image, which is what I wanted. To get a more pronounced embossed image you can lightly mist your cardstock with water before embossing.
The sandwich for the Cuttlebug is as follows:
I stamped the Heart Bird image using Black Pigment Ink and embossed the image with clear embossing powder. I layered the Mesh Stencil over the image and sponged through the stencil using Broken China Distress Ink Pad. Assemble card as shown.

Hi - Jean Okimoto here again - and yes, it's another neons card this weekend. You're probably thinking "she's addicted to Designer Stencils and Radiant Neons" - you're right! I tried this design with other inks, but in the end, the neons won.
Can you see the big, abstract, 5-petaled multi-colored flower created by Pop Dots and Radiant Neons on the left? I like to find 'hidden' patterns in the Designer Stencils - and thought this was so cool. What do you think?
Stencil Pop Dots onto Parchment Cardstock - let the great colors overlap to create some cool new shades. Memory Box Parchment Cardstock is great for stenciling - it's smooth - and lets the colors pop. Attach it to a side-folded Parchment Cardstock card. Diecut Cloud Thanks from Graphite Cardstock and black cardstock. Save the cloud and little pieces from inside the a, n and k for another project. Layer "thanks" for dimension, then attach it to the background in a slight curve. Relax, this is supposed to be a fun card.
Diecut Adorable Posies from Key Lime Gingham. Attach a sequin. That's it!
Working on my designs for the Neons, Neons, Neons card at the Tukwila Impress on May 10th and June 14 - I'll post the samples as soon as they're ready.
If you're in the area (or if you can get here by tomorrow!!) - be sure to stop by the Tukwila or University Village Impress stores for their Annual 20% Off Sale. Tomorrow is the last day. Great products - new releases, classic favorites and papercrafting treasures you didn't even know you needed. See you there!
