It's raining cats and dogs here in central Maine as I write this post, and I'm hoping that it will help to melt the snow and ice so the real blossoms of spring can start poking their little heads out of the ground soon. The downside to all this rain is the MUD--I live on a dirt road that is really impassable at the moment.
So what to do on a day like today? I'm continuing my love of blending stencils and dies, this time creating some flowery spring-y cards. These first two feature the Flowering Whimsy Branch stencil.
- Whimsy Branch Stencil No. 88553
- Sophia Bloom Set Die No. 98840
- Plush Bow Die No. 98870 {Don't you just LOVE this little bow?!!!)
- punches: 1', 1 1/4", 1 1/2"
- Memory Box patterned papers
- Hero Arts Green Hills Ink
- Whimsy Branch Stencil No. 88553
- Fancy Blossoms Die No. 98312
- used die cut paper with blossoms removed for the stencil for the orange flower
These next two cards focus on the Leaves and Berries stencil for the background.
- Garden Leaf and Berry Stencil No. 88552
- Pavilia Bloom Background Die No. 98899
- Pavilia Bloom Outline Die No. 98888
- Garden Leaf and Berry Stencil No. 88552
- Pavilia Bloom Background Die No. 98899
- Pavilia Bloom Outline Die No. 98888
Hurry up, Spring!!!
Happy crafting!
Such fun bright spring projects!

For those of us in Central Maine, the rain has stopped, the sun is out and Anne's flower cards make us want to run out and dig under the snow to see if real ones will eventually show up. Beautiful cards, Anne.

Hi Anne, I am so glad to see the sunshine today after all the rain yesterday. I cannot wait for the flowers to start blooming so your cards lifted my spirits today with your wonderful creations.
Thanks again, Cheryl

What a beautiful quartet of flowery cards!! Great colors and that bow IS quite divine!
I can feel your pain on the mud! We live on a backroad in Vermont and have a 1200' mudbog driveway at this time! It is impassable at this time so we have to use our 4-wheeler to get out.
Thanks for sharing these pretty cards with me to brighten my day!
