Happy 19th Anniversary
Happy Sunday morning everyone! It's my turn (Shelby) to give a little bit of inspiration today. My LSS, Simple Pleasures, is celebrating their 19th anniversary this weekend and I wanted to show one of the custom made stamps and dies that Dave created.
This rubber stamp and die set is called Phlox, I've stamped out and colored the main image 3 times and layered the flower heads. The set also comes with 2 small die cuts to coordinate with the flower petal. I also had a bit of bling bling to the flower using Wink of Stella pens.
I've used the one of the new stencils called Mesh (88517) with Tim Holtz distress paints to create the background, and The Grassland Border is from Poppystamps (825).
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend.
love, love sooooooo pretty

This is lovely, and a great way to show off the phlox set. Did you paint the distress inks through the stencil using a brush?

Hi Ann...I used the dauber to apply the paint directly to the stencil, and then re-wet the paint with water using a mister and ran the stencil and paper through my Big Shot (using thin metal die sandwich). Hope this helps and answers your question...Shelby
