Valentine Wishes
Happy New Year...let's get started on Valentine cards today!
Hi, Jean Okimoto here, with a few of my favorite heart designs from Memory Box. We'll be introducing our 2014 Collection soon - but in the meantime, let's create with some of classic Valentine designs from previous collections.
And magically, this has gone thru several transformations from the original you may have seen. The original colors didn't show up well here, so I changed things, many things. Let's get started...again!
- Intricate Heart F1902
- Grand Heart Die 98254
- Parker Upper Case Alphabet 98364
- Parker Number Set 98365
- Classic Lower Case Alphabet 98360
- Dove Gray Cardstock
- Taffy Cardstock
- Graphite Notecard and Envelope
Other Supplies
- ColorBox Lilac Pigment Inkpad
- Detail Clear Embossing Powder
- White Cardstock
- Diecut Machine and Plates
- Heat-tool
- Raspberry Fizz Silk Cardstock
- Clearsnap Silver Lining Glitter
- Charcoal Glitter
- Scor-Tape
- 1/4" Circle Punch
Stamp and emboss Intricate Heart, then diecut it with Grand Heart. Attach Scor-tape behind the silk cardstock and diecut the letters and exclamation mark (from the Parker Number set). Repeat the process with Taffy Cardstock. Layer the letters and exclamation point - slightly offset, and attach them to the Intricate Heart. Diecut the Dove Gray heart. Attach Scor-Tape to a scrap of white cardstock and press a 50/50 mix of Silver Lining and Charcoal Glitter onto the adhesive. Punch 1/4" circles of the glittered cardstock.
Here's a Memory Box Valentine card on the Clearsnap Blog too...
Thanks for visiting!
