Lovely Lunette Butterfly
Hello Crafty Friends!
Wouldn't you love to see one of these beauties in your garden? You can create your own using the new dies from the Classic Elegance collection.
The butterfly is created from two dies...a background called Oriel Butterfly and the detailed overlay Lunette Butterfly. To get the colors on the wings, scribble gel sticks onto watercolor paper, mist with water and gently blend the colors with a paint brush--then dry. Determine your favorite portion of the watercolor paper (the possibilities are endless) and die cut the Oriel Butterfly, then adhere the Lunette Butterfly die right on top. Don't forget the butterfly body with antennae--it's a seperate piece that comes with both dies.
Here's what I used:
I die cut the gorgeous Lucienne Tile die on white paper and layered it onto colored card stock which shows through the delicate openings, then added gem stones for a little sparkle.
Oriel Butterfly 98740
Lunette Butterfly 98745
Lucienne Tile 98774
Hope you like this "thinking of you" card today--thanks for stopping by!
Happy Friday,
It's lovely!!
