I've got pumpkins on my mind...and growing in my garden!IMG_2948
The challenge this week is to keep the woodchuck from eating everything that pokes over the low fence.

I just had to use HARVEST PUMPKIN OVAL FRAME die no. 99525 and PLUMP PUMPKIN die no.99521 for my cards today, two of the newest dies from the 2016 Holiday Release.  And the perfect background for my first card features the new FALLING MAPLE stencil.

I inked up the stencil on smooth white cardstock first using Hero Arts Fresh Peach ink and adding Butter Bar ink using a fingertip dauber.   This was sooo much fun that I repeated the process numerous times on different cardstock and using different ink combinations...lots of backgrounds ready now for other fall-themed cards.

Here's the first card:

I layered a stenciled piece on bright orange cardstock cut to fit the front of a White A2 card (5.5X4.25").  I cut the two pumpkin dies from bright orange cardstock and then cut them again from Key Lime Distressed Dot paper to get the leaf and the curly stem to layer on.  I daubed on a little Hero Arts Fresh Peach ink on the edges of the pumpkin pieces.  I also cut an oval layer from Mango Distressed Dots paper which fit exactly under the pumpkin oval, using a glue pen to hold them together.  I used a foam dot to pop up the tiny pumpkin.  I finished off the card with some key lime ribbon tied in a bow.  There's plenty of room to add a sentiment inside the Mango oval later.

For the second card, I die cut a larger oval as the base layer for adhering everything to a Key Lime notecard.

And then I made two more cards, even simpler, using black cardstock as the base.

So much fun!  Using these dies, stencil, inks, and papers reminds me of my favorite time of year when my pumpkins will be ready for picking, carving, and cooking!  Happy Crafting!

Chatfords Wreath...

Christmas in July is always so fun! Pam here...I kinda got off the beaten path color scheme wise with this card but never fear...keep scrolling and you'll find more traditional colors with the same dies.

Here's the NEW Chatfords Wreath combined with some other Memory Box dies.  Check out the links at the bottom of the post.

I die cut the wreath two times from two different green card-stocks, kept all the pieces and just interchanged them between the two cards.

I love how these cards turned out!  So fun... there is another, different one on my blog that I posted earlier in the week... just click on my name to see it too.

The white just makes it pop! Some pearls and Liquid pearls and it's time to celebrate!  or bust out singing a carol or two!  : )

 Thanks for stopping by!

CAS Butterflies

Good morning everyone!  I hope your week has gone well and you've been able to get to your craft room.

Have you heard?  Memory Box now has a Challenge...whoohoo.  What a fabulous way to show off your amazing talent and a chance to winning some Memory Box Goodies.  The theme of this month's challenge is Butterflies.  You can find all of the information about the Challenge HERE.

Now onto today's creation in keeping with the challenge theme...

I went with a one layer (wowzer to do just one layer for me:)) CAS card using one of my all time favorite dies called Fairyland Butterflies

I had an extra piece of watercolored paper from playing around with the new Clean Color markers and thought the colors would work beautifully for butterflies.

Even though it's a one layer card, I still wanted to add some depth and interest so I die cut the fabulous word die "LOVE" from the set All About the Love with two sided adhesive foam and dipped one side in brightly colored glitter.  Popped on some colorful sequins and voila ...a bright and cheery butterfly one layered card.

I can't wait to see your gorgeous butterfly creations this month!

Happy 2015

Good Morning Marnie here and I wan to with you The Happiest New Year!  Did everyone PARTY all Night Long?  We had a lovely time with Family and I ate way too much junk food which is our tradition.  But oh my it was yummy.  I have a bit of salt overload today though need to drink lots of water.    I'm here with a Memory Box Celebration Card today.

Here is a little bit of FUN for you all.  First on Kraft cardstock, with the Snowfall Stamp I stamped VersaMark all around the edges with the little dots and embossed with the Imagine Crafts Black Embossing Powder.  This did leave a bit of a blank in the middle but I just punched it out with a circle.  Then I foam taped the piece onto a Black cardstock mat.  In the center I cut out the Urban Numbers from Gold Mirror Card and added a bit of Diamond Stickles around them.  They are so much more glittery in person it's hard to capture.  The corner bow was also cut out of the Gold Mirror Card and added on top.  And lastly it was all layered onto Gold and then onto a Kraft Card.  Pretty and Simple for the New Year.   So Modern!

 Memory Box Products Used:

Snowfall Stamp G1999

Corner Bow 98371

Kraft Card

Other Products Used:
