Peaceful Deer

One of my favorite stamps from this holiday collection is the Deer in the Field (F1944).  It reminds me of a peaceful and serene place in the woods at my parents home.

For this card, I paired the new Deer in the Field stamp with a stamp from a previous collection:  Snowy Pine Landscape (F1900).

Card 6
Instructions:

  • Ink up Deer in the Field stamp using Archival Coffee on the deer and Archival Olive on the trees. Stamp onto a piece of Water paper by lining up the right side of stamp with right side of the paper.
  • Ink up Snowy Pine Landscape with Archival Olive and stamp to the left side of the trees.
  • Add a mask over the image stamped.  If you don't want to mask the whole image, at a minimum mask the deer.

  • Ink up Snowy Pine Landscape with Archival Olive and stamp trees above the first set of trees. You’ll probably need to do this toward the left side then the right side.   Remove mask and wipe clean with a kleenex.

  • Ink up sentiment with Archival Coffee ink and stamp on lower left corner of paper.

  • Attach to Vanilla Bean mat and then to front of Parchment Note Card

  • Add a light amount of Stickles to the tree branches as desired.
