It's a CAS holiday with a twist!

This Christmas is coming so quickly with Thanksgiving being so late this year. So if you are like me you may not have time to make complicated cards and will want  go with a clean and simple style this year.

If you have been following my postings here and here, you know I am all about the stamps and a CAS design. Here I pulled out Presents of Joy. But I just wasn't quite happy with the lay out and here is what I did!

From this......

I cut the joy to use in other ways.

So what is the twist, you ask?

I created a window from one of the presents and inserted the "joy" under the present. Here is a quick tutorial who need visuals.

Now are you asking yourself- that isn't the card she showed us?!!? You would be right! I have to examples of the same card. The opener is stamped, colored with copics and glitterfied. The next card was paper pieced with Memory Box distressed dots paper.

Here is a closer look-

And here is the popped out window-

That isn't hard huh? Just think of all the things you can do with this stamp.

Remember- stamps are our friends, they love to be bathing in ink and being pressed lovingly onto a piece of paper!

Cute card, but it stopped being quick and easy to mass produce when I have to cut a window in each card, and cut out three paper pieced packages. Doing 50 or 100 of these would take quite a while...

Sorry, Jan- you don't have to paper piece the card- yes that is time consuming. I love the copic colored card the best. For me cutting out
around the one present would not take any more time then cutting layers of paper for some cards. But hey that is just me;)
I hope I will show you something you would feel would be easier to replicate in the future.
Thanks as always for the comments!

Clever ideas, and all with the same stamp set!!!! Woo Hoo!
