Halloween is not very popular in Russia but I like to make cards for this holiday as there is so much halloween decoration that it's really hard to stand.
So today I would like to share with you my Halloween card.
I hope that you have enjoyed the fall-themed cards that were posted this week and perhaps found some inspiration. Don't forget that you have until October 31st to enter your own fall card(s) for the chance to win the Memory Box die of your choice.
For my card today, I used the Grim Cauldron (98700), Tiny Bubbles (98699), and Star Flourish (98691). You can't really tell from the picture, but the cauldron is popped up with foam tape, and I added some glitter pen to the bubbles and stars for extra sparkle. For the inside of the card, I added the "Something Spooky is Brewing" saying (B1971).
I cut out the Star Flourish twice...once with Wisteria paper and once with Key Lime. Next, I paper-pieced the two colors together. I will have to post other samples soon with other color schemes. Using red/white/blue makes an excellent patriotic card, and red/green is perfect for Christmas.
Today I have one more Halloween Card for you. It is hard to believe that the fall season is quickly slipping away. I love all the colors of autumn and especially Halloween!
Today's card uses the following Memory Box Products.
Stamps: Vintage Halloween Words #G1802, Great Pumpkin #G1882,Have a Bootiful Halloween #B1968 and Spooky Mansion #E1974
Die: Great Pumpkin #98423
Cardstock: Mango Dots, Licorice and Parchment
I hope you all have a great week-end, and enjoy these autumn days!
Hi - Jean Okimoto here again - with an extra post tonight. The cutest little lime green pickup truck (driving oh-so-slowly) inspired this card for our Fall Blitz. It also gave me another reason to use my favorite ghost die. Halloween is just 2 weeks away...so many Memory Box dies - so little time!
Just cut the Cityscape Silhouette and Cityscape Nightline and layer them. Attach a few ghosts. Stamp Vintage Record Sheet with ColorBox Pepper Pigment Ink. Punch a spooky moon with a 1" circle punch. Cut the Auto Parts die truck - and some silvery hubcaps. Attach everything to a Mango Notecard.
Be sure to drop by Impress Cards and Crafts (their new name) for festive holiday happenings this weekend. Their annual Holiday Event is on Saturday the 19th - you'll love it!
Thanks for visiting - join us again on Friday for more Fall Blitz designs!
HI - Hope you're enjoying our Design Team's Fall Blitz this week! Here's another Halloween card for you - no ghosts this time, but they'll be back soon.
Diecut Bunch of Bats twice - directly from the moon of the Moonlight Woods stamped image, and again from a white cardstock. Punch a 1.75" circle around the diecut bats on the white cardstock. Align and attach the white circle over the diecut background. Layer it over a Licorice Notecard...a lot easier than attaching 8 little bats in flight.
Shadow Pumpkins are stamped on Mango Cardstock. Halloween Flourish is stamped in Key Lime Distressed Dots. See the Memory Box Collection here.
Join us for two classes at Tukwila on Sunday too - first, it's CHRISTMAS WITH POPPYSTAMPS at 11:30. See the just-released Christmas 2013 collection, create 5 great cards...and receive a special gift that's perfect for your holiday projects! View the new Poppystamps products here.
I just love this card Julia one of our teachers here at The Stamp Addict in San Diego taught in her recent Memory Box cuttlebug class! I had to share it with you....
She used the Memory Box Ghastly Ghosts dies and the Curious Cat die from Poppystamps! She also used one of my favorite fall Memory Box stamps the Autumn Trees stamp! She arranged them all on some jack-o-lantern paper and voila! A wonderful fun Fall card!
I die cut the pumpkins out of Memory Box Jack o Lantern card-stock, they emboss and cut all in one pass through the machine. I colored the lines with YR12 and the stem with E47 Copic Sketch markers.
OH, almost forgot...see the teeny leaves on the tops of the pumpkins?! I die cut the Elyse Christmas Treeout of Memory Box Dill card-stock, trimmed off pieces and glued them on behind the pumpkins.
I inked up the Autumn Trees stamp with Black pigment ink and heat embossed with Detail Clear Embossing Powder on Memory Box Pool card-stock. Trimmed that layer and matted on Memory Box Licorice card-stock. That panel is adhered to a Memory Box Crimson A-2 Notecard.
I like to make multiple cuts of the word sentiments and glue them together to sturdy them up. Hello is four cuts glued together. FALL is one cut but I used thin mounting squares cut in strips to adhere them to the card.
That's it for today... THANKS so much for your visit! I enjoy visiting the MB Flickr gallery everyday to see what you're all posting! Thanks so much for linking to the Fall card contest! Good luck!

Thanks for visiting. Stop by often this week - we have a bunch of great fall ideas to share with you!
Here come the holidays and you may be called on to bring the wine or sparkling cider to the dinner party, gift exchange or tree trimming party.
Whatever the occasion, dress up the bottle to suit the festivities by creating a decked out "bottle bib". Every hostess would love to see you at her door with this thoughtful gift.
This is a full size wine bottle and the bib measurement is 3.5" x 11". I scored one end at 3.5" to create the collar area and die cut the Large Circle Burst to give a stylish bottle neck opening. I think this is my favorite part--the bottle peeks though the radiating holes giving a hint to the contents.
The Grand Merry Christmas die was cut and layered onto Memory Box's Beary Good paper and the elf hat was added as a jaunty flourish. It adds a touch of whimsy like elves themselves.
To match the Beary Good paper, I added the Holiday Spirit Bear and dressed him up with some Mini Holly on his neck scarf--too cute!
I'm not sure if you can see it very well but there is a dangling Precious Snowflake on the bow bejeweled with gemstones--gotta have sparkle for the holidays!
I'm going to make a few of these to have at-the-ready for holiday occasions...better make some for Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Year's too....lots to make, gotta go!
