Clean and Simple Halloween

Batshalloween
Hi everyone!  I wanted to share one of my favorite styles of stamping...clean and simple.  If you wanted to make a bunch of Halloween cards in a short amount of time, this card would really work well.  Don't make Halloween cards?  Use the layout and change the stamp and colors.  You can easily stamp the washi tape in red to give a candy look for Christmas.

Stamps:
Flying Bats C1975
Halloween Flourish B1965
Washi Tape Stripes D1931

Inks:
Black Versafine
Colorbox Chalk Gray Whale

Other Materials:
Copic Orange .3 multiliner pen
Stamp Postiioner
1 ¼” circle punch

Instructions:

  • Stamp washi tape border three times onto white cardstock using grey ink.  Make sure to leave a little space in between each of the stripes.
  • Add dashed lines between the stripes using orange multilinker
  • Use stamp positioner and add saying on top of the bottom stripe using black ink
  • Stamp bats onto center of grey cardstock square using black ink
  • Stamp moon onto cream cardstock using black ink
  • Cut out the moon from cream paper using circle punch
  • Glue cream moon on top image that was stamped on grey cardstock.
  • Assemble the pieces of the card.

Comments

I like the clean layout.

I, too, like the clean layout. And as you say layout this could be for anything. I like that washi stamp. Very nice card.
