Fri 11

Cheers!

Here come the holidays and you may be called on to bring the wine or sparkling cider to the dinner party, gift exchange or tree trimming party.

Whatever the occasion, dress up the bottle to suit the festivities by creating a decked out "bottle bib".  Every hostess would love to see you at her door with this thoughtful gift.

Cheers!

This is a full size wine bottle and the bib measurement is 3.5" x 11".  I scored one end at 3.5" to create the collar area and die cut the Large Circle Burst to give a stylish bottle neck opening.  I think this is my favorite part--the bottle peeks though the radiating holes giving a hint to the contents.

The Grand Merry Christmas die was cut and layered onto Memory Box's Beary Good paper and the elf hat was added as a jaunty flourish.  It adds a touch of whimsy like elves themselves.

To match the Beary Good paper, I added the Holiday Spirit Bear and dressed him up with some Mini Holly on his neck scarf--too cute!

I'm not sure if you can see it very well but there is a dangling Precious Snowflake on the bow bejeweled with gemstones--gotta have sparkle for the holidays!

I'm going to make a few of these to have at-the-ready for holiday occasions...better make some for Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Year's too....lots to make, gotta go!

Happy Friday~

This is a cute idea. I didn't know they had that paper in full size sheets. Usually you show the items used in your projects but I was unable to get that this time.

Is there any chance you can do a tutorial on this? It's cute and I'd love to make some, but can't get the measurements figured out. My brain just isn't cooperating.

Hello Shirley, Yes, I'd be happy to give more instructions on this project. I will post it very soon.
Thank you Betty, Please click on the bolded items in the blog post. They will take you to the exact Memory Box items used. The are links to the products. Let me know if it doesn't work for you. Thanks! Jenny

Wonderful idea. I love it!
