Autumn Wreath

Well, it's starting to happen....there's a chill in the air, leaves are starting to change and the Fall TV shows are in full swing.  Whether you call it Autumn or Fall---it's here!

Today I went to a local Pumpkin Patch, complete with hay bales, corn stalks and pumpkins, with two of my grandsons....yes, Fall has arrived.  To mark the season, I'm sharing this colorful wreath card with you.

Fall wreath

Since I have been teaching classes with Copics lately, I decided to change it up and pull out the Prismacolor pencils for the leaves.  I like these colors on Kraft paper.

This beautiful Harvest Wreath stamp deserves to be the featured image--it's a great size and offers a variety of leaves to color any way you want.

The flowers and leaves at the top were cut from the Norrland Flower die to add dimension and more color.

Sneaky me used the Small Canning Jar as a tag (the neck of the jar is tucked into the flower clusters)--it was just the right size to capture the word "Autumn" from the Autumn Leaf Collage stamp.  Sometimes the most unlikely die or stamp is just what you need --so try to envision uses for them other than the intended purpose.

Did you notice the pumpkin candles in the photo?  I made a quick stop at the famous Knorr Candle Factory on the way home from the Pumpkin Patch and picked up these beeswax cuties! One can never have too many stamps, dies or candles...right?

Click on the stamp and die links above to get all the info on each delightful product used on this card or take this list to your local store and go shopping!

I love your wreath! I wish I could color like that. We took our oldest granddaughter to the pumpkin patch...in our garden! When the pumpkins were small, we carved names into them. They were able to take them home a couple of weeks ago.

Beautiful card and I love your pumpkin candles too.
