3-Tiered Chocolate Birthday Cake

P1110478September is a popular month for birthdays - celebrate with a 3-tiered cake from Memory Box!  Jean Okimoto here with a party cake composed of Vanilla Bean Memory Box Signature Prints - Dots, Moroccan and Distressed Dots.

Diecut Petite Cake 98547 from the prints, flip the scalloped icing trim accents over to the unprinted side and attach them to each piece.  Cut Scalloped Cake Stand 98541 from Thistle Cardstock.  Assemble the layers and attach everything to a rectangle of Peony Cardstock.

Stamp Happy Birthday Background G1921 on Thistle Cardtock with Glacier Lake.  Ink the edges with Glacier Lake.  Attach a strip of Thistle Dots.  Punch 3/8" circles of Thistle Gingham.  Attach the pieces to a Peony Notecard.  Coordinate the cheerful card with a matching Peony Envelope - or a Thistle Envelope, just to be different!

While you're at it, diecut two more sets of the Scalloped Cake Stand and make two more cards using the extra Petite Cake pieces.  Memory Box Signature Prints are designed to be mixed, matched and layered.
