Halloween 31
Hello Memory Box fans,
I'm already seeing Halloween decorations, costumes and CANDY in stores so it's time to share a new card---a Halloween one!
It was fun to use several different colors of glitter--the more glitter the merrier, right? On this card the spider is a fun purple, the numbers are glittered in black and the rosette center is solid silver--I also brushed the rosette top folds with silver. Wish glitter photographed better because this card really sparkles! (click on the photo for a larger view)
For the rosette I attached two lengths together for extra fullness and to make it a little smaller in overall size, I trimmed 1/2" off the width (on the straight edge) before joining the ends together. It's nice when you can customize the size with a few simple snips.
I also die cut the numbers 31 twice, orange then black, and layered them slightly offset to show both colors for a shadow effect.
This card is very dimensional so it won't fit into a regular envelope but it can be hand delivered or packaged in a clear presentation box...maybe with a little Halloween candy!

Spooky, love the tree and the Halloween colors. Your rosette is nice and full, the second strip was a perfect addition.

You have inspired me! How do you like to attach glitter for a card like this?
Thanks!
