Happy Holiday Penguins!
Oh my gosh! It is finally here! The new Memory Box 2013 Merry and Bright release!!! All I have to say is I was so excited when I saw this collection.....soooo much inspiration! Cute, Elegant, Halloween, spooky, fun, Christmas, Holiday, Snow (yes, snow in July!!!) and soooo much more!
Here is the 1st card I made with the new collection, I hope you like it!
I started with a dark silver metallic card base and used the new Grand Happy Holidays die with a purple sheet of cardstock which I attached to the bottom of the front of the card. I love how the silver shimmers through on the word holidays! (Oh an added bonus...you can then use the 'holiday' letters on another card, so with this die, you are getting 2 things you can use everytime you diecut it!)
I then used the Playful Penguins die with black cardstock and put 2 of the penguins on so they look like they are holding hands and looking at each other (Awwww, how sweet!). Next, I used the Snowflake Burst die with white shimmer cardstock and randomly glued them on the top half of the cardfront. It really was a quick card and the effect is fun and with the shimmer papers it has wow factor!
I will be teaching this card along with 3 or 4 others at The Stamp Addict in San Diego on Aug. 10th and again on Aug. 21st so come take the class with me and play with all these fantastic new stamp and dies from Memory Box!!!!
