Oh. My. Goodness. Where to begin?! Dave has done it again...new dies (105) AND new stamps (45)! I get to kick off two weeks of blog posts which will feature many of the new dies and stamps just released from Memory Box. I've been playing with my selection for a week or so and I can't wait to see what others on the design team have made! Be sure to leave comments on each post--you just might win some incredible products from Memory Box!!!
When I first saw the images for this release, I kept thinking of ways to combine multiple dies, multiple stamps and dies, and multiple stamps. Memory Box stamps are now available in both wood mount and cling. For this post, I focused on combining three of the new stamps: WISH Collage, Woodland Merry Christmas, and Deer Family.
- WISH Collage G1941 (wood) or CS1941G (cling)
- Woodland Merry Christmas B1950 (wood) or CS1950 (cling)
- Deer Family D1962 (wood) or CS1962 (cling)
I made one card in traditional colors:
- Poinsettia Birds paper from Memory Box Tinsel 12X12 collection
- Memory Box Crimson note cards (cut one card to use as mounting cardstock behind stamped images)
- Archival Ink Olive
- Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
And then I had some fun using non-traditional colors!
- scrap of Memory Box paper adhered to a Memory Box Raspberry note card
- Hero Arts mid-tone shadow ink Raspberry Jam
- changed the orientation so the card opens at the bottom; had to cut down the WISH Collage just a bit
- Memory box paper scrap from a 4X6 collection
- Memory Box Key Lime note card
- Hero Arts mid-tone shadow ink Green Hills
- brown ribbon bow
- Memory Box Bluebird Distressed Dot paper
- Memory Box white note card
- Distress Ink Salty Ocean
- blue/white gingham bow
- Memory Box Bubblegum Distressed Dots paper
- Memory Box Bubblegum note card
- Hero Arts mid-tone shadow ink Bubble Gum
- pink/white gingham bow
Now it's your turn. Leave me some comments, please. At the end of the blitz (July 14), one comment left on this post will win the new Wish Collage stamp (G1941). Also, check back during the next two weeks to see what others on the design team have created to inspire you. And check with your local stamp store to purchase the newest stamps and dies!
Happy Crafting!
It's just after 4 am and I have to be at work at 5.... had to come here first on a quick look to see what's new!
The new stamps are beautiful! Love all the color combos on your cards, and of course the traditional one, but the blue version is my favorite!
