Just Thinking of You Today
Hello, stampers!
Memory Box just released its latest collection, and today I've made a card featuring two of the new stamps! I also tried some new things on this card and was really pleased with my results.
- I used Inktense watercolor pencils for the first time; and
- I decided to dry emboss and ink my stamped image after I'd colored it.

Could you explain what you mean by dry emboss and then ink stamped image? Do you mean emboss background?

Thank you for all the lovely comments!
To answer your question, Jan, I stamped and colored my flower and sentiment on a flat panel of cardstock just like I normally would. Then I put it into an embossing folder and ran it through my Vagabond. Then I lightly inked the raised surface of the embossing with Ranger Distress (Pumice Stone) ink on a foam ink applicator tool. (I didn't ink the embossed bits that are over the flower.)

Great card!! Love the dry embossing detail behind the stamp. Will have to get that sentiment stamp at my LSS. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Oh.. I feel a new addiction coming on. I have loads of Memory Box Dies... but not one stamp from Memory Box.... I fear that is about to change. Gorgeous card ! Can't wait to copy it.
I look forward to starting my "new" stamp collection.
