Springtime Greetings

Chair 3Hi everyone,
I am sitting here looking at the snow and wishing I was looking at green leaves on the trees.  I have always loved the Cozy Chair Stamp and thought this was great to use for today's card. Let's get started.

Memory Box products used:

  • Cardstock: Kraft and Parchment
  • Distressed Dots: Squash
  • Rubber Stamps: Cozy Chair -D1184, Springtime Greetings-B1226 and Tree Frame-E1326
  • Die: Small Madison Window-816

Instructions:

  1. Ink the flat side of an embossing folder with Frost White pigment ink.  Place a Kraft cardstock layer in folder and emboss.
  2. Die cut the Madison Window using Parchment cardstock.
  3. Ink the Tree Frame Stamp with Brown ink and stamp on Parchment cardstock.  I turned the stamp so the branches would be facing upward. Trim to fit behind the die cut window. Using acrylic paint, I stippled some green and yellow paint on the branches to look like leaves.
  4. Ink the Cozy Chair Stamp with black ink and stamp onto Squash distressed dot paper.  Cut out the stamped image.
  5. Stamp "Springtime Greetings" on a strip of parchment cardstock.  Form a banner.
  6. Ink all edges of paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
  7. Assemble card as shown.

Have a great day!

Donna

Oh that's brilliant and looks so cosy. Much needed on this snowy/windy/rainy/sleety/grey day here in the UK. Thanks for the inspiration.
