Fresh & Easy

Fresh & Easy may remind you of a popular grocery store if you live in California, Nevada or Arizona but today it aptly describes this card~

Fresh & Easy Card

I absolutely love the graceful Fresh Foliage die and gave it a little "split personality" by cutting one out of Skip to My Lou paper and another from Dill card stock then piecing them together on two different layers.

  •  Adhere the light green foliage die cut onto the dill panel letting it spill over on the left side.
  •  Add the "bookmark" shaped panel, positioning it over a portion of foliage.
  •  Align the dark green foliage die cut to the "bookmark" panel, adhere what is needed and trim off excess.  Save excess portion for the inside of the card....

All that remains is to add a few pearls, gemstones and a simple white seam binding ribbon tied around the layers including the beautiful background paper, Veronica...   Hmmmm,  don't you wish you knew how Dave comes up with the names for his paper designs?  Who is Veronica?  Maybe we should have a contest and the winner's name would be assigned to the next new paper design!!!!   Anyone second that motion?

I'll be heading to Spartanburg, SC to teach 3 different Memory Box classes at Scrapbook Creation's Crop & Paper Crafter Festival on April 26-28th.  I'd love to see you there!

Happy Friday!

Such a great idea to have the die change color. Very cool!

Gorgeous, Jenny!

Nice post. I find out something extra difficult on different blogs everyday. It'll at all times be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a bit some thing from their store. I'd prefer to use some using the content on my blog no matter if you don't mind. Natually I'll provide you with a link on your internet weblog. Thanks for sharing.
