The Tree of Love
When making this card for Valentine's Day I chose the die that immediately grabbed my attention when this new collection debuted. It must have been the curly branches and leaves and their symetry. Each branch has wonderful detail and I love the embossed definition on each leaf---a bonus! (click on the photo to see detail)
With a little help from the silver metallic Precious Hearts die and the Heart Delights border die cut from azalea metallic paper the Tree of Wonder is bursting with hearts--fitting of the occasion.
After cutting the Heart Delights border, save the remaining strip to add on the inside of the card.
The Love sentiment was just perfect for this clean and simple card.
Next time I may add birds, tiny flowers or butterflies instead of hearts for a whole new and different type card. Hmm, the possibilities are endless....Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall.
I will be teaching this card in class Saturday, Feb 9th at Gee Gee's in Carlsbad, Ca. If you're in the area, join us!
Happy Friday!
Jenny - This is really beautiful. Its one of my favorite dies too! Thanks for the inspiration.
