Got Kids {or Grandkids}?

For those of you with more than one kiddo or grandchild, you know that it can be difficult to keep up with their chores. Actually, they never can seem to remember whose turn it is to feed the dogs or do the dishes, etc. LOL! When we moved into our new home 7 months ago, I couldn't use our old chore chart. So, I broke out my Memory Box dies, papers, and stamps, and here is how we handle chores now:

I first stamped the Memory Box Vintage Record Sheet stamp {G1712} onto 6 different tags. I stamped two in purple, two in green, and two in red. We assigned our identical triplets colors when they were born, and 18 years later, we still use them. LOL! It works great! After stamping the tags, I trimmed them down a bit as they were going to be a bit too long.

Next, I used the Memory Box Large Typewriter Lowercase Alphabet set {98439} to die cut their initials and adhered them to each tag. I used various Memory Box 8 1/2 x 11 papers for that (violet dot, granny smith, and cranberry distressed dots). And here is how it turned out:

Each morning I just flip the tags to reveal whose turn it is for each chore. I have 4 of these hooks on this board across my laundry room wall so it is very easy for everyone to see, and it definitely keeps the bickering down to zero. What the board says goes. Yes, even at 18. LOL!

Have a blessed Valentine's Day, and I hope this is a little gift to all of you parents and grandparents out there so that you can more easily assign tasks that might help you in your home!
