I seem to be on a botanical kick lately but with the new Memory Box dies can you blame me?
Today I share with you the Lovely Aster. As I did last week with the Phlox...I went to the internet to research asters---what color are they? Do they grow in clusters? Again, I found there are many colors and varieties but this color combination appealed to me most.
And here's Nature's finest!
The actual metal die looks like this:
I layered the 3 largest die cut flowers after "stripping" each petal between my fingers and pulling downward ---much like curling ribbon with scissors. A tiny drop of glue in the centers between each layer (in descending size) holds them in place. As for the yellow center, I die cut 3 per flower to give it fullness. They were "stripped" upward, layered, then slightly crushed with my thumb to create a dome.
A little petal "fluffing" and lifting made each flower dimensional. This card will definitely need to be hand delivered or sent in a presentation box so it won't be crushed.
Here are all the supplies used on this card:

98508 Pippi Butterfly die
