Hopmeadow Circle
Are you all having a great time checking out the new stamps and dies from Memory Box?! We've really enjoyed sharing some ideas with you and hope it inspires you to go out and create some pieces of your own.
I chose to work with the Hopmeadow Circle Die.
I really like the intricacy of the design and the embossed areas are really beautiful. Here's my card.
I took a piece of glossy paper and covered it with 3 diferent colors of alcohol inks. I used a lettuce color, stream, and butterscotch. Then I die cut this paper with the Hopmeadow Circle die. I then ran it back through my die cut machine with an embossing pad to emboss the areas. I think if you click on the picture you'll see the embossing a bit better.
When you die cut the Hopmeadow Circle the center circle is about 1 1/2. So I just punched out a 1 inch circle from that and added it back to the card and added a button.
I hope you have a great day. And don't forget...leave comments on the designer posts this week. One person will be chosen each day to win one of the new dies. Good luck!
What a pretty card. I love alcohol inks, too, and how you die cut for your card. This looks like a great die. So many wonderful new dies...where to start???? LOL

I love the delicacy of the die. Die inks? I know just where they are and its time to recycle them out again. Thanks for your ideas.
